Knowle DGE Learning Centre is a vibrant and aspirational learning community based in Knowle West in Bristol for students from KS1 right through to KS5. Knowle DGE is a specialist Learning Centre for young people with additional needs principally in the areas of Emotional, Social and Behavioural Difficulties (ESBD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Speech Language and Communication (SLCN) and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) at the communicative, higher -operating end of the spectrum. All students attending Knowle DGE have an official statement of SEN (Special Educational Needs) or EHCP (Education and Health Care Plan).

Team Teach Training (to Intermediate or Advanced level): BILD-accredited training for staff dealing with emotional arousal in young people and its successful de-escalation. Although Team Teach training does fully qualify staff in physical intervention the emphasis is mostly on using positive relationships, the correct body language and verbal scripting to manage, disarm and reframe difficult situations.

Costing: Team Teach has its own pre-determined costing structure, timings, materials, maximum number of course participants and renewal schedule. Please contact the Learning Centre to discuss your needs.
