MLP Partnership Support

Basic RGB learning
The Malago Learning Partnership was established by a group of schools with a shared commitment to improving the life chances of the children in their immediate vicinity. Since the partnership was established, inspection judgements and assessment outcomes have improved significantly and the level of provision offered has improved significantly. mark1
We have learned many lessons and there are many more to learn. We would like to share our learning and support you in developing your own partnership, whilst looking to learn from you at the same time. We can offer a tailored programme of support, with each session attended by at least two of our senior leaders, based around the following. stp 2

SETTING THE DIRECTION

  • Attendance at 2-3 of your partnership meetings during the year to support the development of your strategic plan and protocols for working.
  • Supporting the development of effective network groups to lead improvement at different levels.

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT VISITS

  • Helping you develop ways of working to support the school improvement journey, creating a focus for peer evaluation and supporting you in carrying out a school-to-school visit.
  • Data sharing – facilitating the development of protocols and practices that help with learning from data.

JOINT PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT

  • Exploring opportunities for staff at all levels of the partnership to share practice and learn from each other.

The basic support package will cost £1,000 and consist of the equivalent of 2 days of input. Grants may be available to deliver this support by making application as per the Learning City meetings.
